Our Leadership Team

Rockford V. Gray - President

Rocky has been involved in the sign industry for 40 years. During his career, he has been involved in every phase of the business: accounting, estimating, engineering, sales, and general management. You name it, he's done it. This means he brings a wealth of experience,not only to Chandler, but to our clients' businesses as well.

Jack Martin - VP/CFO & Controller

Jack brings 37 years of accounting and finance expertise to Chandler Signs. He joined our company back in 1987. Previously, he worked with Coopers & Lybrand, a Big 8 public accounting firm, and served as an internal auditor, accounting manager and CFO of a national corporation. He also has had prior sign industry experience from another sign company.

Gary Stevens - VP/Manufacturing Manager

With 32 years of experience in the sign industry, he has an in-depth knowledge of all phases of sign construction and manufacturing. A true craftsman in every sense, his vast experience and skill is transferred directly to the manufacturing floor. Gary not only leads the company's R&D (Research and Development) efforts, he also spearheads the development of contemporary sign construction techniques.

Chuck Riffe - VP/West Coast

Chuck's career in the sign industry began in Los Angeles, CA in 1966 working in an engineering department. Within two years, he was promoted to manager. Since then, and several cross-country moves later, he has held numerous managerial roles, such as electronics director and other high-level executive positions within the sign industry. However, the highlight of his career came in 1991 while opening the West Coast office of Chandler Signs.

Bill Macrum - VP/San Antonio

Throughout his career, Bill has been involved in nearly all aspects of the sign industry. Over the past 31 years, he has gained a wealth of experience in fabrication, plant management, purchasing, sales and office management. Moreover, Bill also served as a partner for a development company, overseeing all construction and purchasing of all on-site advertising within a multi-state region.

Mark J. Vergenz - VP/Dallas

Mark's career began in March of 1984, manufacturing signs in the shop. His combined (22) years of experience includes plant supervision, estimating, job cost analysis, and sales management. Mark joined Chandler Signs in 1998, and assumed the responsibility of Plant Manager for the 80,000 square foot addition to our Dallas manufacturing facility. Within (2) years, he was promoted to Manager of the Estimating Department. In 2002, he moved into the position of Manager of the Sales Support Staff, which included Design, Estimating, and Project Management. In 2005, Mark was named the District Manager for the Dallas Group, which includes all activities relating to Sales and Sales Support.
